I’m Dani, a literature lover and collector of books.

My reading taste is across the board — from fantasy and science fiction to contemporary, literary and horror (with the occasional romantasy, historical fiction and middle-grade thrown into the mix). I’m very much a mood reader and never know what book will strike my fancy next.

I started this site back in October of 2022 and now have read and reviewed more than 100 books on this site. I’m constantly looking for ways to connect to other readers.

October Reading Plans

September was rough. I don’t think I picked up a single book until towards the tail end of the month and overall, I had no desire to read. This is really strange for me as September usually kicks off my most active reading period but for some reason, my head’s not in it. Instead of putting extra pressure on myself, I’m taking a step back and slowing down. I’m hoping that by giving myself a little reprieve, my reading mood will bounce back and I’ll be back on track to finish my goals by the end of the year.
