I’m Dani, a literature lover and collector of books.

My reading taste is across the board — from fantasy and science fiction to contemporary, literary and horror (with the occasional romantasy, historical fiction and middle-grade thrown into the mix). I’m very much a mood reader and never know what book will strike my fancy next.

I started this site back in October of 2022 and now have read and reviewed more than 100 books on this site. I’m constantly looking for ways to connect to other readers.

August Reading Plans

July was my best reading month all year (a whopping 6 books, which were all wonderful), but I know August will be busier and so I fully expect my reading to dip down a bit. Some of my favorite books are coming out next month so I think I’ll take it easy for the coming weeks and do a mix of new and re-reads. We’re getting close to my favorite time of year and I love that people are already starting to dub August as “Augtober”…but it’s still plenty hot so I’m not feeling the Autumnal vibes just yet.

Time to squeeze in the last couple summer reads!
