Welcome to Blossom and Page, a site dedicated to all things books and reading. This site was formerly known as Mish-mashed Magic.

I’m Dani, a literature lover and collector of books.

My reading taste is across the board — from fantasy and science fiction to contemporary, literary and horror (with the occasional romantasy, historical fiction and middle-grade thrown into the mix). I’m very much a mood reader and never know what book will strike my fancy next.

I started this site back in October of 2022 and now have read and reviewed more than 100 books on this site. I’m constantly looking for ways to connect to other readers.

August Reading Plans

After my July hiatus to handle my website rebranding, I’m finally getting back into a reading rhythm (I promise I did read during my hiatus too!). This month is a hodge podge of literary, speculative fiction, horror and cozy fantasy. I’m hoping with this range I’ll be ready for every reading mood I fall in to this month. I may or may also be holding out hope to squeeze in Katabasis towards the end of this month but…lets not get ahead of ourselves, yes?
